Even as the Sudan conflict fades from the headlines, needs on the ground escalate due to ravaged infrastructure and virtually nonexistent essential services. As always, the most vulnerable suffer the most during wartime.
We are working closely with trusted local partners to provide food, water, and urgent care, street by street in Khartoum where most of the fighting has been focused. Long-time friend and co-laborer Tawfig Osman Salih founded and leads a Sudanese NGO, and has stayed on the ground to help care for the most vulnerable.
